Access and Equality Consultancy Services
The AEC operates independently of building professionals or equipment suppliers.
Our auditors, trainers and advisors are covered by £1,000,000 Professional Indemnity Insurance and all have CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) clearance.
Access Audits
Our aim is to ensure that disabled service users can access your building or service. Our access auditors provide qualified, independent advice with a 'pan disability' perspective.
Our portfolio includes buildings of all types and ages - schools, churches and museums - as well as a range of public and commercial buildings. Our catchment area extends beyond the County of Essex and the 'Essex in London' Boroughs of Redbridge, Barking & Dagenham and Waltham Forest. Audits have been carried out across SE England, from Spalding to the Isle of Wight.
AEC Training
Our trained teachers provide disability awareness training, together with supplementary 'train the trainer' packages, to augment other equality training. Training can be carried out in our own, bespoke training suite in our new eco HQ, or on your own premises. Please contact us to discuss your specific training requirements.
